The home and family work done by rauhanyhdistys organizations enhances children’s and adolescents’ personal faith and supports parenthood and Christian education at homes. The purpose of family and deaconal work is to escort families in all life situations - to help them believe, hope and love in the midst of everyday life.
SRK supports the local organizations by providing education and instructional material for persons involved in home and family work. All people are welcome to the events arranged by rauhanyhdistys organizations.
Regional teams for family and deaconal work and the work done with children and adolescents help local organizations to plan and implement their activities. Each camp facility has a campwork team of its own to plan and implement campwork.
The Conservative Laestadian folk high schools (called Opisto in Finnish) cooperate with SRK to arrange courses for teachers of Bible class, Sunday school and Day circle as well as the staff of camps and confirmations schools.
